Auto repair in the United States is split between independent shops, dealership service departments and national chains. Independents handle most routine work (oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, check-engine diagnostics) at lower labor rates and often specialize in one make or in imports; dealers keep factory tools, software and warranty authority; chains sell speed and standard pricing on maintenance items. Most shops charge a diagnostic fee, credited toward the repair if you go ahead, and quote parts and labor separately. Certification matters: look for ASE-certified technicians and, in many states, a state repair license posted at the counter. Written estimates are required by law in most states before work begins, and you are entitled to your old parts if you ask.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open Open 24 hours. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Whitt Collision Repair at (972) 809-8888; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Denton is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Denton is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

He helped me out on a Sunday Father’s Day on short notice because my brakes were squealing. The prices were very fair and he walked me through it and showed me my brake pads and made everything super clear and transparent. I’m super grateful and will definitely come back!

Chris really took care of me. Honestly for me it is not about the money but my time! He came and met me at my job, took my car, and did exactly what he said he was going to do! I am by far impressed with his professionalism and care of the client and vehicle!!!! Thank you Chris for being someone that sticks to their word! My work looks great and I have not one freaking complaint!!!!!

I recently had some body work done for my sister in laws car in this shop, and out of the eight different places I got quotes from, this was the only one that was truly on it. Christopher, the owner is super reliable, communicates clearly, and gave me very fair pricing compared to everyone else. The work was done exactly how I hoped, and the whole process was quick and stress-free, he even went out of his way to leave the car sparkling clean and tire shine all throughout! If you’re looking for a body shop or mechanical work you can actually trust, he is the one. Highly recommend!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️😁

Amazing experience! My car ended up having issues late at night and was inoperable however when I called, despite being so late the service was great. I was gave the issues and was given a general diagnosis over the phone and then an estimate immediately at a low price! My car was towed in 30 mins and then worked on next day. I was given updates on the progress. The towing fee was waived and then my car was also dropped off at my place at no cost! Amazing work, very kind, and handled everything calmly! I will absolutely recommend anyone in the denton area go through Whitt Collision Repair for any issues with their vehicle, 10/10 will use for anything that I may need in the future!

Couldn’t Be Happier! Just had a spoiler installed and I’m seriously impressed with the results! The installation is top-notch, and the fitment is perfect—looks like it came straight from the factory. Christopher at his shop was professional, knowledgeable, and made sure everything was done right. The front, back, and side spoiler totally transforms the look of my car! It’s sleek, sporty, and just the right touch of aggressive. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to mod their ride. I’ll definitely recommend him if anyone wants to do a body kit upgrade!
